1- What sort of containers should I use to recycle?
You should use the mobile 360 litre recycling bin . They are blue and made of plastic.

2- Where can I get my recycling bin?
Call the Public Works department at : (450) 263-0277
The bins belong to the city. They are to be used only at the address where they have been sent. They are registered to that address by a 9 digit number.

3- Why must we rinse the containers that are to be recycled?
It is a matter of public health and hygiene for the people who have to handle them.
It will also avoid unpleasant odours in your bin.

4- Do I have to sort my recyclables?
No. Just dump them in the bin.

5- Can I have more than one bin?
For single family dwellings and duplexes the limit is one bin per unit.
Multiple family dwellings of 3 or 4 units can have 2 bins.
For dwellings of more than 4 units, as well as commercial and industrial establishments call: (450) 263-0277.
The recyclables which cannot, because of their size, be placed in the bin should be tied into bundles or placed in boxes or other appropriate containers (not exceeding 25 pounds) and set out neatly beside the bin on collection day.

6- How do I get rid of that old couch?
Put it out on garbage collection day.

7- I have other questions?
Call : (450) 263-0277.
